An Evening in Trogir Has Two Speeds
It's eight o'clock. The children are in their room, lights already out, three metres of wall between them and the kitchen — wall that carries no sound. You are in quiet motion — wine from the fridge, two glasses, out through the glass doors onto the terrace. The Adriatic below whispers that thing of its own that anyone understands who has spent three nights in Dalmatia.
Three generations under one roof, and each keeps its own hours. In Trogir, that needn't be a problem. Which is precisely why this place was built the way it was.

Six people, three rhythms, one space
Some apartments for six are really for two — and four downstairs, quietly suffering on the sofa. This one in Trogir is not like that.
A proper double room for the parents. A separate children's room with two beds (not bunk beds, not a "boy's bed" that turns out to be a bench seat in the morning). And in the living room, a genuine pull-out bed for two additional guests — the grandparents, a daughter's friend, another young family that finally decided to join at the last minute.
The dining table is designed for six people at once. Not for four and "the other two can eat first". For six. At the same time.
The Wall You Only Hear When It's Fast Asleep
No photograph can tell the truth about soundproofing between rooms. So we're telling you instead.
Between the master bedroom and the children's bedroom there is a proper masonry wall — not a plasterboard partition with a timber frame. The dishwasher in the kitchen cannot be heard in the children's room. Early-morning voices from the parents at six o'clock won't wake the little one. And — most importantly — once the children are asleep at eight, the adults in the living room can still do what is practically forbidden in most family apartments: watch a film, laugh, drink wine without whispering.
